Information used to provide AnswerCheck
When you choose Check, the selected answer and limited technical context needed to run the review are sent to AnswerCheck’s service. The service identifies claims, retrieves sources, and returns a review. We may process account information, subscription status, and privacy-safe operational data such as request identifiers, platform type, timing, and text length.
What is not included by design
AnswerCheck does not intentionally send your prompt or full conversation when you check a selected answer. Application logs are designed not to record answer text. We do not use checked content to train AnswerCheck models.
Service providers
AnswerCheck relies on service providers for authentication and data storage, payments, AI-assisted claim analysis, source retrieval, hosting, and infrastructure. They process information only as needed to provide those services under their own contractual and security obligations.
Account and billing data
Authentication is handled through our identity provider. Payments are handled by Stripe; AnswerCheck does not store full payment card details. Subscription status is stored so access can work across supported clients.
Retention and security
We minimize stored content and use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Where operational retention is necessary, we limit it to the purpose and period required to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Your choices
You can choose not to check an answer, sign out, cancel your subscription, revoke Mac Accessibility access, or uninstall the application. For account or privacy requests, contact support@answercheck.ai.
Important limitation
AnswerCheck is a review aid, not an authority or guarantee. Sources may be incomplete, unavailable, or wrong. Do not rely on AnswerCheck alone for medical, legal, financial, safety, or other consequential decisions.
